The Revello homepage on a laptop and a phone: the headline Email and SMS that turn first orders into repeat revenue, beside a laptop and phone showing five of its lifecycle emails
Live Site · Email & SMS Marketing

Revello

Revello is an email and SMS marketing agency for online brands. Its site went through the same process every build does — a brief, a design, a build, a full QA pass and a launch on its own domain — and it is live, so you can click through it.

The design takes its cue from the brand’s own mockups: ink on warm paper, a high-contrast serif for the headlines and a geometric sans that echoes the logo. Behind the homepage are six in-depth guides, a booking page for strategy calls and a contact form, and on a phone the homepage scores 100 in all four of Google’s Lighthouse categories.

Concept Builds

Three trades, three different sites

These are concept builds — self-directed projects for invented Scarborough businesses, made to show what a small trade’s site can be when it is hand-coded rather than dropped into a template. Every one is a real, working, two-page site: hand-written HTML and CSS, no page builder, no WordPress, images inside a byte budget, and a light and dark mode that both pass WCAG AA contrast.

They share a toolkit and nothing else. Different palette, different typefaces, different structure, because a landscaper and a 24-hour wildlife callout are not selling the same thing and should not look like they are.

Landscaping · Highland Creek

Rouge Valley Landscaping

A garden and interlock crew sells on what the work looks like when it is finished, so this one is built around photographs: a full-bleed hero, a six-project gallery, and a before-and-after of a single yard. The type is a serif, which is unusual for a trade and deliberate here — it reads as craft rather than as a callout.

The palette is a deep garden green against a warm gold. Every photograph was cropped, converted and size-budgeted so the page still loads fast on a phone on mobile data, which is where most of these searches happen.

Nobody in this trade publishes a price. This one does — three flat packages on the homepage, above the fold on a phone, next to a button that dials. That single decision is the whole pitch, and the rest of the page is built to get you to it quickly.

The face is an industrial grotesque and the palette is wet aluminium against autumn copper, which is both the literal subject and about as far from the landscaping green as the colour wheel allows. Seasonal urgency without a fake countdown clock.

The East End Wildlife Control homepage on a laptop and a phone: a raccoon photographed head-on beside the headline Something’s in the attic, we can be there today
Wildlife Removal · Agincourt

East End Wildlife Control

An emergency trade cannot publish a price for a job it has not seen, so this one sells on a phone number and a promise about method. The homepage answers the only two questions a panicking homeowner has — do you deal with this animal, and will somebody actually pick up — before it says a word about the company.

Night navy for the trust half of that message, a signal orange for the urgent half. Underneath the hero is a grid of the six animals people actually call about, because “do you handle raccoons” should not require reading a services page.

The three trade businesses above are invented. Concept builds use fictional names so no real company’s branding, photographs or copy are involved — the design work is real, the clients are not. Revello, at the top of the page, is real and live. Your site would be built from scratch for your business, not handed to you from this page.
